Loddon United Football Club has been in existence since the early 1900’s.
|
|
|
In
the early part of the century the club played in the Norfolk Junior
Leagues until after World War II when it joined the East Anglian League.
|
|
When the Anglian Combination League was formed in 1964, from the East Anglian and
Norfolk and Suffolk Leagues, Loddon United were amongst it’s founder
members and the club has continued to play in the league, which is now sponsored
by Dolphin
Autos. |

The First XI and Reserves play in the Anglian Combination
League. |
|
When the
‘A’ team was formed in the early 1990’s they were entered into
the Norwich Business Houses League, now sponsored by Rogers &
Norton, and they have continued to play in the league ever since. |
|
The Veterans play in the Norfolk
and Suffolk Veterans Football League. |
|
|
|
|
|
In 2002 Loddon Ladies was added to the ranks to
support the growing demand for Ladies’ football, although they are
taking a rest in the 2007-2008 season. |
|
Training is held every
Wednesday night at the Playing Field, George Lane, Loddon. Sessions
